What is a Fair Deal Scheme valuation?
The HSE Fair Deal Scheme provides financial support towards nursing home care and is calculated by a financial assessment which includes income from pensions, benefits or other income and your assets, usually any property. Under this scheme, a contribution is made towards the cost of care and the State will pay the balance. If you are considering applying then you will need a valuation which is submitted with your application.
