Gerard is a holds a Diploma in Property Economics from DIT, Bolton Street and Bachelor of Science Degree (Honours) in Surveying from the University of Dublin.  Gerard has worked in the Cork property market since 1996 and has acquired vast experience across the commercial, residential and new homes sectors.

Gerard was appointed as a Member of the Valuation Tribunal by the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage in 2019.
